Predator: Badlands arrives in theaters next week and fans are wondering: will there be an end credits scene? Rumors began to circulate this week that the film would feature a (very quick) cutscene after the credits roll of a Xenomorph fighting a Predator, setting up for the inevitable upcoming crossover. However, as Dan Trachtenberg had confirmed many times previously, there will be no Xenomorphs in Badlands and now we also know, there will be no post-credit scene either.

Both the U.S. and UK held advanced screenings of Badlands yesterday evening and attendees have confirmed – no additional footage awaits at the end of the movie. The film acts as a stand-alone entry and does not set up for an immediate follow-up sequel. Instead, it does expand upon Yautja lore heavily and opens up many doors for exploration in other, future films.
In related news, 20th Century Studios just released a new movie clip from the start of the film, where Kwei is instructed by their father Njohrr to kill his brother Dek. The scene evokes quite an array of emotion as you can feel the hesitancy in Kwei and the fear / feeling of betrayal in Dek. We also get a glimpse at a new Predator net weapon, check it out:
