Early concept art for Dan Trachtenberg's Predator: Badlands depicts a dramatically different finale for the film! Created by concept artist Roman Chalyi, the following depictions offer alternative outcomes for what would become the ending for Predator: Badlands. It looks like the Weyland-Yutani android torso initially belonged to a male-themed Synthetic, not a female one. The Super Power Loader also looks a bit different and the most intriguing difference – the Dinosaur-like alien creature Dek is riding into battle with it. These could have been very early Kalisk ideas or something entirely different. The early Thia replacement is also seen riding a beastly creature with tusks. Some depictions almost look like the Android would have interfaced with the creature somehow. These of course were very early concepts for the film, but as director Dan Trachtenberg mentions, these set the stage for having the climactic Dek vs. Super Power Loader battle finale:
