Predator: Badlands is going to introduce audiences to a new form of Weyland-Yutani Synthetic – one that acts more like a swarm of drones than Human companion. In a fresh promotional video for the next Predator movie, director Dan Trachtenberg reveals more details about the other new Synthetics, besides Thia and Tessa. We know at least one, if not the whole swarm of Drones take on Human Male characteristics and are named Abe. These Synths draw inspiration from Michael Fassbender's David and Walter from Prometheus and Alien: Covenant:

What's interesting in Baldands is, you're seeing different kinds of Synthetic units. Usually the Synthetic unit is something that us meant to blend in with the Human crew but now we find a battalion of Synths, these drone hunters that are made to kill.
