Arnold Schwarzenegger is very interested in what Dan Trachtenberg is doing with Predator and has spoken with Dan about reprising his role, returning to the franchise he helped launch back in 1987, according to Predator: Badlands producer Ben Rosenblatt. Speaking to Deadline at the red carpet premiere of Trachtenberg's latest Yautja adventure, Ben confirmed that Schwarzenegger has been in touch with Dan about returning to Predator and adds that those conversations are likely to continue after Badlands' theatrical success:

Arnold and Dan have met a couple of times now. He’s been really interested in what we’re doing, he’s a real fan of what we’ve done so far, from what I understand. And we’re really excited. After Predator: Badlands comes out, we’ll see and have more conversations. Hopefully, we’ll have a chance to do something with Arnold, because that would be awesome!
Schwarzenegger, who at the time of writing this is 78 years old, appeared as an animated cameo of himself in the Predator: Killer of Killers anime frozen in stasis. The anime altered cinema history by revealing the Predators – or at least this faction of Yautja, collect those who have defeated a Yautja in honorable combat, to be reintroduced later on – at least as fodder for coliseum-like gladiator battles.
But, with Badlands having bridged the gap once again between Alien and Predator movie timelines, it's very likely Dan could be saving Arnold's Dutch for a cameo in the Alien vs. Predator reboot! Imagine Dutch coming in contact with a Xenomorph? The implications are borderline unfathomable.
