It will be interesting to see what its like, i however dont take Trailers as any indication to what the movie would be like, but its likely it would be a Movie i would see at the Box Office.
My Concern is the Way Advanced Previews... because if the Spoilers are around and reaction is bad, then it may make me consider only seeing this when it comes to Cable or DVD when it drops to the $10-12 Range....
But then if there are people i know who would want to see it regardless at the Box Office i dont mind tagging along to see it then ;)
Looks like this must be either some Hi-Tech Secret Underground USA Base.... aka like a Area 51 kind or Installation or its on a Predator Ship
Again we have to Question why FOX would do such a Advanced Screening, unless those in countenance sign a NON Disclosure.
As their is bound to be reviews and spoilers to this movie 4 Months Prior to World Wide Release and if these reviews are Negative and/or people get Spoilers and already know what the movie is about, then SURELY this could impact the Box Office Numbers.
4 weeks Advanced Showing would be fine... 4 Months? I feel could be a Error.
But it would be interesting to see the Reaction to the Advanced Screenings and Fingers Crossed the Movie is actually Decent to Good.
im not swayed by this. still feel the same about the predator as I do with the next alien instalment, expecting nothing, hoping for the best
I'm usually not an overly negative person, but I'm not sure how this plot even spells something decent to anyone ... everything that's come out about this movie so far sounds like someone tried to combine E.T. and Independence day while throwing Predators into the mix.
Can't help but feel more worried TBH...
The footage is so good and so cool that Fox has not released it online. Sony released their Venom trailer, yet Fox continues to perpetuate the negativity towards this movie through their inaction. Its time Black and Fox put their money where their mouth is and man up with a trailer for all to see.
Still pretty optimistic about this even before this information. Shane Black. That is all.
I think this plot could be a bit Fishy.... but dont shoot it down yet.... lets hope the Predator Ship does not just Crash and it was Shot Down ;)
Sneak Peaks like this can just show off the Hype and Effects... and should be taken as Lightly as Trailers.... But each to their own.. i am going to go with this with a OPEN mind and Not Expect nothing Great.... and it may then Surprise Me ;)

Aussiebatman The movie makers seem to be holding their cards pretty close so far. Predator has a pretty good track record for effects in general imo. I am not too worried in that regard.
Sounds good! I just hope it doesn't rely on CGI over practical effects

I think on one hand this could be interesting.....
But then it has the potential to go very wrong....
The Predator clans all have some sense of honor. Wiping out a planet's populace doesn't seem that honorable, considering not all humans are warriors or have weapons to defend themselves with. Perhaps this is a rogue clan that is not as honorable? Either way, I can't wait for a trailer.

Okay- this sounds pretty good. The genetic upgrading makes me think of some kind of Alien relation. Hmm...
Code would not let them splice themselves... why do you think they sent a cleaner in 'Wolf' to take out the Hybrid? It's an abomination to the blood and culture. 
The Predators are already extremely powerful without DNA joining. Their Blood makes Earth beings immortal as long as its drank regularly, & $hane still hasnt filmed a Yautja, that hasnt joined DNA, boasting its strength compared to other aliens and Yautja. I am anxious to see his veiws with this extreme move.
If they upgraded themselves with Xenomorph DNA they would be unstoppable.
much like my thoughts on the alien covenant sequel, hoping for the best, expecting NOTHING.
It could be a lack of confidence but it couldn't be any worse than the 3rd movie imo. Hopefully it will be one of those movies that comes out of nowhere and crushes everything. A bunch of details and trailers would probably lead to disappointing some fans like another prominent movie seemed to have done.
The silence from Black and Fox is the most worrying part. Although still optimistic I wish they could give us just something that would appease our concerns.
Shane Black tweeted a reply the other day saying "wouldn't it be cool to go in (to The Predator) knowing nothing? :-)"
Perhaps they think the film is so unique and ground-breaking that the lack of any news, art, photos, trailers etc is building up the enigma of the plot. And perhaps it is true, and we will blown away!
But the longer the silence goes on, the more it just feels like lack of confidence, rather than building mystery and suspense.

IRaptus It could be an April Fools gag. The blue light could be it though.
I think its down to preference, if its a movie you want to really see and not be spoiled then just a teaser trailer would do, sadly with some movies we get Multiple Trailers that give a lot away or lead Fans to expect something they wont actually get.
So sometimes its best to go in with seeing NO trailers

One trailer and that's it. Knowing nothing is a great idea but we should have at least a basic premise.
